Tim Cowan, President and Chief Executive Officer

Tim was previously Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of First Interstate Bank,  at which time he was responsible for approximately 52 branches,  1000 employees, with total assets for the NW region at $1.2 billion and approximately $450 million in commercial loans. He was appointed spokesperson for the Oregon Banking Industry by the Oregon Bankers Association.

Tim has developed many training programs for financial analysis and loan structure given to loan officers, responsible for the development and implementation of external programs to be offered to customers on the financial operations of their business and is a retired Major in the United States Army.

Tom Cowan - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Tom was previously the Deputy Director for the Department of Veterans Affairs for the state of Oregon, where he managed an annual portfolio of $5 billion.


Teri Field - Manager of Operations

Prior to joining AFS, she was with Wells Fargo Bank for 35 years. She started as a teller and retired as vice president of operations management and district manager of collection operations.


Bob Moothart - Vice President, Sales and Marketing

With over 20 years experience in the business side of dental consulting and patient-financing Bob's previous work history is in management and marketing.


Tricia Clay - Client Services Manager

13+ years dental industry experience. Prior to joining AFS, Trish was with Affordable Dental Care, a group of dental offices who grew from 2 to 12 offices and 150 employees during her years with them.  Responsibilities included daily management of individual dental offices with emphasis on Accounts Receivables and maintaining the provider schedule for production goals.

Steve Nilsby - Patient-Financing Representative

Steve's career in finance and credit started 31 years ago in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and became part of American Financial Services at the corporate office in sales.
